Switching Agencies & Website Takeover

Switching Agencies & Website Takeover

Move your site, domain, Google listing and ad accounts into your name, with every old page kept working once the domain is yours.

In detail

Who it’s for

Businesses whose domain, Google listing, ad accounts or site sit with an agency they want to leave: roofers and other trades on an agency’s own platform, restaurants whose site only the agency can change, and clinics and firms without the logins to their own accounts.

In your industry

  • Home & Trade: A roofer’s domain and Google listing move out of the old agency’s account and into the owner’s name.
  • Food & Beverage: A restaurant’s old menu and events pages forward to their new addresses.
  • Health & Wellness: A clinic moves its site off its old agency’s platform, with the booking link tested before and after the move.
  • Professional Services: An accounting firm gets its analytics and ad accounts set up in its own name.

Everything for Home & Trade Everything for Food & Beverage

It’s likely a fit if

  • You don’t have the login to your own domain, Google listing or ad accounts.
  • Your site lives on your agency’s own platform.
  • You want to leave, but you’re worried about losing your site, your listing or your leads.

When it isn’t the place to start: If your domain is registered in the agency’s name and they won’t release it, that’s the one thing we can’t fix for you. The inventory flags it first.

The problem

Your domain, Google listing or ad accounts sit in your agency’s name. Your site lives on their platform. Leaving feels like starting over.

How we fix it

We take stock of everything you have: site pages, domain, Google Business Profile, analytics, ad accounts, tracking and forms. We move each one into your name. Once the domain is in your name, the new site keeps every page Google already knows: each old address either stays or forwards to its new page. Nothing is switched off until its replacement is checked.

What’s included.

Leave your old agency without losing what you built. Scoped to your business, so the plan says which of these you need.

How it works, step by step.

Inside the same four stages as every engagement: free audit, plan, build and check, run and report. A person checks each one. How we work

  1. Check who controls what

Start with the free “Who controls your accounts?” checklist on our switching page. Then we list every page, account, tracking tag and form, with who controls it today.

  2. Ask for what you need

We tell you exactly what to ask your old agency for, like the domain transfer code and manager access to your Google listing.

  3. Move each account into your name

Each account is transferred, or re-created in your name where it can be. The inventory shows which is which before anything moves.

  4. Keep the old pages working

Once the domain is in your name, each old address either stays or forwards to its new page.

  5. Switch over and hand over

Forms and call tracking are tested before and after. Nothing is switched off until its replacement is checked, and you get a hand-over file.

What we need from you

  • What you can get from your old agency: the domain transfer code, Google listing and account access, and a copy of the site if they can export one
  • Any logins you already have
  • The forms, phone numbers and inboxes customers use to reach you
  • One person who can approve each step

What stays yours

  • Your domain, Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts, in your name
  • Your website and its content
  • The hand-over file: what changed and where everything lives now

Questions, answered.

Will my site drop out of Google when I switch?

We don’t promise rankings. What we control is that, once the domain is in your name, your old pages keep working: each old address either stays or forwards to its new page, and nothing is switched off until its replacement is checked.

What if my old agency won’t hand things over?

Some accounts can be transferred and some have to be re-created in your name. The inventory shows which is which before anything moves, and what we need from your old agency for each one. The domain is the exception: it can’t be re-created, so if it’s registered in the agency’s name, they have to release it to you. The inventory flags this first.

Do I have to rebuild my website to switch?

Not always. If your current site is healthy and you can take it with you, we keep it. If it lives on a platform you can’t take with you, we build a new one and, once the domain is in your name, keep the old addresses working.

Can I check where I stand before talking to you?

Yes. The switching page has a free checklist, “Who controls your accounts?”, that runs in your browser and saves nothing.

Who owns the website, the accounts and the data?

You do. Your website and its content, your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your ad and analytics accounts are set up in your name. Your customer records are yours too. Whenever you leave, you get an exit kit: your domain and your logins and accounts (Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts), in your name; your website and its files; and an export of your records (customers, leads, quotes, jobs and invoices) in standard files you can open anywhere, which we prepare for you. SaifHaven OS itself stays with us.

How much does it cost?

Pricing after your free audit. Each engagement is scoped to your business, not sold as a package, so we price it once we’ve seen what you have and what you need. You see a written plan before any work starts. Every client is month to month after the first 90 days. The audit itself commits you to nothing.
