Why SaifHaven

Why SaifHaven: how we compare, and our terms.

Most owners weigh three options: build it themselves, hire an agency, or work with us. Here’s how the three compare, then our terms next to what’s typical. Ask anyone the same questions, and ask for the answers in writing.

In detail

Three ways to get it done.

No builder or agency is named. The first two columns describe what’s common, and plenty do better, so ask.

The questionDo-it-yourself builderTypical agencySaifHaven
Who builds it?You do, from a template, in the evenings and between jobs. The agency’s designers, sometimes on the agency’s own platform.Web designers, with the help of AI. You and your designer agree on the plan before work starts.
Who answers missed calls and follows up quotes? You do. The builder makes the website; calls, texts and follow-up are still yours to handle, or another tool to set up.Often not part of a website project. Some agencies offer it as an extra. We set up missed-call text-back and quote follow-up around the tools you already use, in words you approve.
Who owns the accounts? You do, but the site usually lives on the builder’s platform and can’t be moved off it as it is.The domain, Google listing or ad accounts can end up in the agency’s name.Your website and its content, your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your ad and analytics accounts are set up in your name. Your customer records are yours too.
Who checks the AI’s work? You do. If the builder’s AI writes your pages, checking what it wrote is up to you.It isn’t always clear who checks AI’s work, or what it can do without a person. Ask.Your designer checks every stage before anything moves. Our AI tools don’t publish to your site, change your domain settings, send email, spend ad money or post review replies without a person’s approval.
How long are you tied in?Usually a monthly or yearly plan with the builder, and the site stays on its platform.A fixed minimum term is common, and some run for a year or more.Every client is month to month after the first 90 days. Whenever you leave, you get the exit kit.

The questions to ask any agency.

The “typical agency” column describes what’s common, not any one agency. Plenty of agencies do better than this, which is why it’s worth asking.

The questionTypical agencySaifHaven
How long is the commitment?A fixed minimum term is common, and some run for a year or more.Every client is month to month after the first 90 days.
Who owns the website, the domain and the accounts? The domain, Google listing or ad accounts can end up in the agency’s name, and the site may live on the agency’s own platform.Your website and its content, your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your ad and analytics accounts are set up in your name. Your customer records are yours too.
What happens when you leave?Leaving can mean starting over: the site may not move with you, and accounts may need the agency to release them.Whenever you leave, you get an exit kit: your domain and your logins and accounts (Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts), in your name; your website and its files; and an export of your records (customers, leads, quotes, jobs and invoices) in standard files you can open anywhere, which we prepare for you. SaifHaven OS itself stays with us.
Does anything send in your name without your OK?Automated texts and emails can start sending as soon as they’re switched on.You approve the wording of every message before anything sends. You can pause any automation at any time.
Who checks the reports? Some reports go out straight from the software. Ask whether a person reads yours before it’s sent.Real people review every report before it’s sent.
How is AI used?It isn’t always clear who checks AI’s work, or what it can do without a person. Ask.We’re web designers who work with the help of AI. Our AI tools don’t publish to your site, change your domain settings, send email, spend ad money or post review replies without a person’s approval.
Who pays for the ads? Some agencies pay for ads through their own accounts. Ask whether you’ll see exactly what Google or Meta charged. You do, directly: the ad accounts are in your name, and Google or Meta bills your own card. Our fee for running the campaigns is separate. No ad goes live and no money is spent without your OK. Pricing after your free audit.
What’s promised up front?Rankings, lead counts or quick results are sometimes promised before anyone has looked at your business. We don’t promise rankings. We show you exactly what we did and what changed. If we don’t think we can move the number the work is judged on, we say so in the plan, before work starts.

The exit kit

What we hand over whenever you leave. It’s the same for every client.

  • Your domain, in your name
  • Your logins and accounts: Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts
  • Your website and its files
  • An export of your records (customers, leads, quotes, jobs and invoices) in standard files you can open anywhere, which we prepare for you

SaifHaven OS itself stays with us.

Where we’re honest about limits

Some things nobody can promise, and some we can’t do. We’d rather say so here than after you’ve signed.

  • We don’t promise rankings. Once the domain is in your name, we make sure your old pages keep working.
  • Nobody can promise that AI assistants will name you. With AI Search Visibility, we ask the same questions every month and report what changes.
  • If your domain is registered in the agency’s name and they won’t release it, that’s the one thing we can’t fix for you. The inventory flags it first.
  • We’re a new studio, so there are no client results on this site. We’re taking three founding clients and will publish their numbers only with their permission, after they approve the write-up.
  • We don’t promise that a review can be removed.
  • We test keyboard use, contrast and clear structure before launch, and fix what we find. We don’t certify sites against any legal standard.
  • SaifHaven OS itself stays with us.

Questions, answered.

How long is the commitment?

Every client is month to month after the first 90 days. Whenever you leave, you get an exit kit: your domain and your logins and accounts (Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts), in your name; your website and its files; and an export of your records (customers, leads, quotes, jobs and invoices) in standard files you can open anywhere, which we prepare for you. SaifHaven OS itself stays with us.

Who owns the website, the accounts and the data?

You do. Your website and its content, your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your ad and analytics accounts are set up in your name. Your customer records are yours too.

Who pays for the ads?

You do, directly: the ad accounts are in your name, and Google or Meta bills your own card. Our fee for running the campaigns is separate. No ad goes live and no money is spent without your OK. Pricing after your free audit.

Do automations send messages without my approval?

No. You approve the wording of every message before anything sends. You can pause any automation at any time.

Who reviews the work?

Real people review every report before it’s sent. People check each stage before anything moves on, and our designers launch every site. Our AI tools don’t publish to your site, change your domain settings, send email, spend ad money or post review replies without a person’s approval.

How do you use AI?

We’re web designers who work with the help of AI. AI does the groundwork quickly, like scanning your site and drafting some of the work. Real people review every report before it’s sent.

Why don’t you name other agencies?

Because their terms change and differ from one agency to the next. The questions on this page work with any agency: ask them, and ask for the answers in writing.

How much does it cost?

Pricing after your free audit. Each engagement is scoped to your business, not sold as a package, so we price it once we’ve seen what you have and what you need. You see a written plan before any work starts. Every client is month to month after the first 90 days. The audit itself commits you to nothing.

Your next step

Start with the free audit.

We look at your website, how you show up on Google, and whether AI assistants mention you. Real people review every report before it’s sent.
