How customers here look for you.
Florida has its own rules for how contractors present themselves, and your site is part of that.
A license number on every offer
Florida licenses roofing contractors through the Construction Industry Licensing Board, part of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Florida law also asks contractors to show their certification or registration number in offers of services, bids, contracts and advertising, in any medium. We put it on every page and on the estimate request.
Storm pages about the work, not the claim
Florida law limits how contractors may advertise to homeowners about roof insurance claims, and forbids offering things like a deductible waiver in return for an inspection or a claim (section 489.147, Florida Statutes). We write storm pages about the work: inspections, temporary repairs and what to do first. Insurance promises stay off the page; check the details with your own attorney.
Winter Garden, not “Central Florida”
People type the town: a roofer in Apopka, AC repair in Altamonte Springs, a brewery in Winter Garden. We build a page for each town you cover, with your own jobs and photos from there.
The seasons that fill the phone.
Here the calendar is set by water: hurricane season and the summer rains inside it.
Hurricane season, June 1 to November 30
NOAA gives the Atlantic hurricane season as June 1 to November 30, with the most activity in early to mid September. We set up a storm page, a before-the-storm checklist and a request form you can switch on when a storm is on its way, with messages you approve.
The summer rainy season
The National Weather Service gives the usual start of the rainy season in Orlando as late May, and afternoon thunderstorms are a regular part of the summer. For roofers and remodelers: a leak request that asks for photos and the address, and a text back for every call you miss while you’re up on a roof.
Restaurants and breweries: how diners choose.
Central Florida’s tourism industry brings in guests who have never driven past your door. They choose from a phone.
Visitors choosing from the map
A visitor sees your listing, your photos and your menu before anything else. We keep all of them current and matching, and put the menu on your site as text so phones and AI assistants can read it.
A rain plan people can find
With afternoon storms in summer, patio seating and outdoor events need a rain plan. We put it on the event page and in your Google post, so guests know before they drive over.
Tours and private events booked direct
Brewery tours, private events and large parties booked on your own site, with the details sent to the person who runs them.
What we’d set up first.
- Your Florida certification or registration number on every page and every estimate request.
- A hurricane page and a before-the-storm checklist, ready to switch on.
- A leak request that asks for photos and the address.
- A page for each town you cover, from Apopka to Winter Garden.
- Restaurants and breweries: listings, photos and menus that visitors can rely on, and a rain plan for events.
Questions, answered.
Do you work with businesses in Orlando and Apopka?
Yes. We work remotely with home and trade businesses, restaurants and breweries across Central Florida, including Orlando, Apopka, Winter Park, Winter Garden, Ocoee and Altamonte Springs. Start with the free audit: we look at how you show up in the towns you actually cover.
Does a Florida contractor’s website need the license number?
Florida law asks contractors to include their certification or registration number in offers of services, bids, contracts and advertising, whatever the medium. We put it on every page we build for a Florida contractor. For anything beyond that, check with the DBPR or your attorney.
Can you set up a hurricane page before a storm?
Yes. We build it ahead of the season and leave it switched off. When a storm is on its way, it goes live with the wording you approve.
